Fort Worth Independent School District

With just over 86,000 students enrolled, the Fort Worth ISD is the fifth largest district in the state—but it still boasts a student-teacher ratio of 15:1, which is better than the national average. The graduation rate hovers just under 90%, and students are given access to a wide variety of programs and extracurricular activities. The district's Gold Seal program, which allows students to study industry-driven courses from drone technology to cosmetology, is just one of the many advantages that sets it apart from other schools in the area.

Grapevine-Colleyville ISD 

The Grapevine-Colleyville ISD is a top-rated district, ranked by Niche as the eleventh best in the state. The schools here boast a whopping 97% graduation rate and standardized test scores that far exceed the national average. In addition to excelling in academics, the district was also named one of the Top 100 Places to Work by Dallas Morning News, the sports teams have won a number of recent State Championships, and the school regularly produces a number of National Merit Finalists.

Birdville ISD

Located in Haltom City, Birdville ISD serves just under 24,000 students and has a favorable 15:1 student-teacher ratio, a 90% graduation rate, and above average standardized test scores. The district offers students access to a variety of specialized career and technology programs, over a dozen athletics, and a nationally recognized fine arts program. Within Birdville, there are also several schools that have received National Blue Ribbons, including Smithfield and Green Valley Elementary.

Crowley ISD

The Crowley ISD, located in Crowley, educates over 15,000 students throughout its 24 campuses. In addition to elementary, middle, and high schools, the district also provides both an alternative learning center and a career and technology education center. With a 95% graduation rate, a low student-teacher ratio, and a number of AP scholars, Crowley ISD is known for providing students with a rich and individualized educational experience.

Keller ISD

A highly rated school district tucked a few miles north of Fort Worth, Keller ISD has a student body just under 35,000. Schools here have a graduation rate of 95% and test scores several points above the national average. In addition to gifted and accelerated academic programs, the district also offers an extensive athletics programs and several fine arts options, including band, choir, orchestra, theatre, dance, debate, and more.
